Requirements:

  •  A minimum language level of CLB Level 7 in all four categories (reading, writing, listening, speaking) or IELTS 6. *For applicants with English as a second language* Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian citizen and residing in Saskatchewan to apply.
  •  A Clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search will be required for selected applicants. (Paid for by STSC)
  •  A direct deposit form from your bank for the first day of class (if you are selected for the program). This means if you do not have a bank account, you must have valid ID to open an account.
  •  Valid Class 5 license is an asset

*Successful participants will be hired to staff one of Saskatoon’s winter warming centres operated by The Salvation Army
