Requirements:

• Proof of Vaccination for Covid-19 may be a requirement at some work placements.
• A minimum language level of CLB Level 6 in all four categories (reading, writing, listening, speaking) *For applicants with English as a second language*
• Canadian citizens or Permanent residents can apply – must be residing in Saskatchewan for at least 6 months.  
• A Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check will be required for selected applicants. (Paid for by STSC)
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• A direct deposit form from your bank for the first day of class (if you are selected for the program). This means if you do not have a bank account, you must have a valid ID to open an account.

• Go to www.saskatoontradesandskills.ca and click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab.
• The online application is the only way to apply for the course.
• Make sure to enter your correct email address – all details regarding your application are sent by email.
• Check your spam/junk folder if you have not received an email confirmation after submitting it online.
