This course includes training in:

  • SCOT
  • WHMIS
  • First Aid/CPR 
  • Fall Protection
  • Frame Scaffolding
  • Drywall Application
  • Aerial Platform Training
  • Tool Safety
  • Workplace Essential Skills
  • 2 weeks hands-on training
  • 2 week work placement

Requirements:  

  • A minimum language level of CLB Level 6 in all four categories (reading, writing, listening, speaking) *For applicants with English as a second language*
  • Canadian citizens, Permanent residents or individuals with a valid work permit (check with IRRC regarding eligibility) can apply – must be residing in Saskatchewan for at least 6 months.  
  • A direct deposit form from your bank for the first day of class (if you are selected for the program). This means if you do not have a bank account, you must have valid ID to open an account. 
  • Availability to work weekend and evening shifts may be required.
  • Valid Class 5 license an asset
